Emre Erdogan, MD

General Surgery

Emre Erdogan, was born in Uskudar in 1989. After completing his primary and secondary education in Üsküdar, he was accepted to Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2008 and graduated in 2014.

In 2015, he started his residency in general surgery at Istanbul Education and Research Hospital, and became a specialist in 2020. After completing his mandatory service in Van, he started performing obesity surgeries, which he specialized in for over 7 years, in Kocaeli.

In 2022, he successfully passed the written and oral exams conducted by the Turkish Surgical Association and was granted the title of “Fellow of the Turkish Board of Surgery”.

He successfully performs all obesity and diabetes surgeries, including sleeve gastrectomy, gastric balloon, gastric botox, gastric bypass, duodenal switch, and pancreatic diversion.

He has numerous articles on obesity in both national and international scientific publications
